First, let me apologize for the long absence of new cartoon posts here at the blog. I’ve been focused fully on my Oz project and didn’t realize so much time had passed. I have scheduled cartoon posts so they will be showing up here again.

The good news is that I’m planning to release a kind of “Definitive” Edition of Brother Juniper cartoons this summer. It will be an 850-page hardcover with a dust-jacket. If I can find a way to decrease the file size I will also put that out in eBook formats for people that want all the cartoons in one book.

I gave up trying to locate trade paperback editions of the final two books in the series. I think they may not even exist. I was determined to publish the entire collection, though. With extensive image editing I was able to upscale and clean my horrible source material for these two books. I hope you enjoy The Whimsical World of Brother Juniper and Well Done, Brother Juniper.

From the publishing perspective, the Brother Juniper Rejuvenation Project is complete! Now all we have to do is let people know he’s back. I’ll do my best to post new cartoons to the site every couple weeks and you do your best to let people know what has got you laughing.

The Brother Juniper Rejuvenation Project is now as complete as we can currently get it. We have published five of the eight books and are still on the hunt for Hanover House trade paperback copies of The Whimsical World of Brother Juniper and Well Done, Brother Juniper. If we are ever able to locate these mythical beasts you can rest assured the collection will be completed.

Empty-Grave Publishing will be releasing trade-paperback-sized print copies of Brother Juniper and Brother Juniper at Work and Play in May.  The paper editions will be using the same high-resolution source images that were used to create the eBooks.

Also expect a handful of new cartoons on the website and possibly the eBook and print release of Brother Juniper Strikes Again in the near future.

Empty-Grave Publishing – the creator of this project – currently has five of the eight books in the rare Trade Paperback format that is ideal for archiving.  We are missing the last three though.  Regardless of the vast information on the internet, we are unable to even confirm that what we need exists.

So we ask the fans of Brother Juniper to lend a hand.  We either need to be pointed in the direction of the Trade Paperback editions of the books below (presumably printed by Hanover House) or we need some sort of concrete information proving they do not exist.  Two of the books we have in mass market paperback form – by Doubleday Pocket Books – but we will only use those if we find that the trade paperback format does not exist.  We have been unable to confirm the third book was ever printed in any format.
